I have had this app for a long time. I used to love it. Now that I have moved for the summer, I no longer get valid weather results as the location will no longer update to my current location. If I uncheck the box and search, the search feature does not work either. I’m very annoyed as this app is now obsolete. Please fix!

Can’t automatically detect location, and also can’t search manually for location. Just displays “— F”.

App not working on my IMac, unable to send any feedback.

As other’s have noted, either an OSX update or an update to the app has broken it. After running for a little while the app will dissappear. Relaunching only fixes sometimes. I can’t figure out how to contact support but based on other reviews it looks like they’ve gone dark. Skip this one.

After installing this app, I launched it and it showed up in my menu bar. Great! Uh, no. It wouldn’t automatically find my location in Houston, TX. I put in my zip code. No Nada. Blank. I rebooted. Nope. If this app is so lame it cannot even locate Houston, well forget it. At least I didn’t have to pay for it.

Degrees doesnt detect my location or allow me to select a location. It doesn’t seem to be able to fetch the weather at all, and just displays - - for everything. I’ve contacted support, but haven’t heard anything back.

This app has not worked for a while. Hopefully there is an update in the works, but don’t hold your breath.

Never displayed the temprature. Immediately asks for you upgrade in order to show 5 day outlook. Maybe I would have spent money on the app but when the freebie version won’t display the temp I’m not risking losing money just to see the 5 day outlook.

I installed Degrees on my MacBook Pro (mid 2010) with El Cap and the Degrees app does not display any temperature or allow me to pick a location, nor does it auto-select my location. I have deleted it and will look for something else. I tried to send feedback though the app but that failed as well. Too bad, I wanted this to work as it looked like exctly what I was looking for.

Downloaded app and the interface doesn’t work. Couldn’t locate my location and when i entered it manually nothing showed - except it asking me to spend $1.99 for “pro” features. Don’t waste your time.

It can never find your location.

I don’t live in a major metro so it didn’t pull the temp at all “—F” is all is ever said. Removed within five minutes of installation.

Well after many years of support this is still not working. It won’t update its data, and there hasn’t been an update since February of 2015. I’ve reinstalled it and it still isn’t working. Also tried to give feedback and that process errored out saying server not found. So I guess they turned off the feedback server they were using and didn’t update the app to the new one. I own the Pro version from the Mac App Store, and it is still working. So I don’t know why they are not updating this App. If they are not updatiing it then remove it from the Mac App Store. Apple needs to clean out the stale apps on here. Just went to their site via the link for Degree Weather Support and clicked the iOS version and Apple App Store said “The item you’ve requested is not currently available in the U.S. store.” Hmm, seems they removed their iOS version. Google Play did something similar, “Sorry! This content is not available in your country yet. We’re working to bring the content you love to more countries as quickly as possible. Please check back soon.” Their OS X version is still linked to the Mac App Store free one. Which is not working so I guess they are defunct. Click the company name at the bottom and it comes to a very basic page that list one button, Contact Support.

Won’t find my location, either by manually entering City and State, or ZIP Code. Won’t automatically find it either.

I have a bunch of Macs over 2 years old. Works on em all. My 3 2016 Macs? Not a one. So if you have an old computer, try it. But it’s pretty much old software that is no longer supported and no longer works.

downloaded the app, didn’t work. Went to troubleshooting, still didn’t work. Definitely not worth it!

Any time click on icon it laucnhes preferences panel. Would be better to show that once.

This app hasn’t been updated in over a year and a half. So it’s no surprise that it 100% does not work. Whatever servers they were running this from have been shut down. It won’t retrieve weather at all or even let you submit feedback. Apple needs to remove this abandoned app from the app store.

Now not working. Tried to send error report from the app and that too isn’t going through. REMOVE FROM APP STORE!!!!! I’m getting something else.

The many reports that the app has been abandoned appear to be correct. A pity… it was exactly what I was looking for: a menu-bar temperature reading, with the user’s choice of either a specified location or auto-location. What a shame. I hope the developer can update this. For now, uninstalling.
