Unfortunately it has never worked for me. I’ve even tried listing my own city as well as leaving it blank to see if it would figure it out on its own, and it doesn’t work. All it shows on the screen is this (- -F), I would love to delete this app, but I’ve been unable to. I contacted support but haven’t heard from anyone.

Just downloaded it. It opened in the task bar. Good! It is set to automatic location and….. nothing. No info. Set it to a zip code….nothing. Go to their website, down at the bottom is a link for support. The link goes to a page that doesn’t exist. So, useless app. Don’t waste your time. I used to have the free open source app but that stopped working too. Looking for the next cheapest one that works.

Since updating to the new macOS, this app fails to automatically load in the tray and consistently fails after just a few minutes of use. An update is definitely needed to make it work better with the new macOS. I keep waiting for one, but it’s been over a year since the developer did anything with this app.

None of the lace holders get filled in when I type my city in the pace provided. I tried to send them feedback and an error message came up saying it couldn’t find server. Same with the link just above this dialog box. Out of Business? I suppose with a billion apps, Apple has got to fin it difficult to police and vet all it’s developers. To bad, it looks cool. Maybe I will try the Moble App.

Found great use for this guy over the years. It’s clean and simple and does what you expect it to do - no more no less. Just puchased a new machine and it doesn’t work at all. As some have mentioned, it’s been well over a year since the last update. Too bad.

It does the things shown in the screenshots. However, I cannot set the location manually (it’s broken). I must rely on auto-detection, which sometimes doesn’t update or is very slow to update. If you don’t travel, it shouldn’t be a problem. The feedback feature in the app is broken and shows a server error. Overall, this app seems abandoned by the developer.

This would be a great app if it didn’t crash every day and the automatic location update actually worked. I think the past couple releases of macOS have introduced some bugs.

I downloaded (bought) the Degrees Weather Pro app. IT DOES NOT WORK. I have an iMac running Sierra OS 10.21.1. I can't even delete if from my computer! Would like some tech support here or my money returned.

On my Yosemite machine it crashes all the time. On El Capitan shows annoying popup with upgrade to Pro (which I did a while ago) and doesn’t work at all. I disappointed by recent versions, before it was great app.

I saw the pics and read the reviews, it seems to do what i need, but i downloaded and it is not working. It doesnt show or connect to anything either on automatic or by manually writing my location. I really wanted it to work, but it just doesn’t

A few months ago this app stopped working. Maybe one of the recent OS upgrades knocked it out. Whatever the reason, it has not worked for months. Useless. Your Welcome for my Pro App Upgrade $$. /sarcasm

The app worked flawlessly until today. It says it is 169F outside right now. The forecast is sunny and 185 by Sunday. We are used to the heat here but not quite like this!

Ive run this tiny app for several months and generally liked it. Without cause, it would sometimes disappear from the menu bar but relaunching it wasnt a huge deal. What is a huge deal now is that it simply DOES NOT WORK since the Mac OS update of 10.11.4. From the moment the update finished, Degrees read 99° even though the location was still correct and the real temperature was in the 30s. Over the past day it has very slowly been dropping the temp and now reads 86° while the real temp is 32°. Ive tried deleting it and re-installing -- no change. No matter what I put in for location it still reads the original setting and this seems to be a big clue. My hunch is its displaying temp for the wrong location and ignoring the preferences setting. In any event, its completely useless until they fix something. Ill adjust my review accordingly if it should return to functionality.

This app used to work just fine and since I updated to 10.11.4 it not longer operates at all. I also noticed this app has been ignored but the developer’s since Feb. 2015. I feel the app should just be removed from the App Store since it is now apparently useless. Also the developers do not respond to any support or e-mails so maybe they have just abandoned the whole thing.

I have been happily using this app for a few years. Sadly it appears to be broken now - every temperature number is way off - 30 to 80 degrees too high. Interestingly I think the wind speed, condition (currently raining), and humidity still seem to be correct. I sent a support email yesterday. Hopefully someone is still there. I will update the review if it’s fixed.

I love this app, but it occasionally just dies and disappears from my menu bar. If I restart it, it can’t find the temperature, and clicking Refresh does nothing. If I buy the paid version will the app work more consistently? Other than it dying, I like having the temp in my menu bar! It’s a nicely-designed, unobtrusive app. Edit 2 days after leaving this review: Degrees thinks it’s 153 degrees Fahrenheit where I live. It isn’t. Yesterday it said 173. I tried quitting and restarting; doesn’t help. Something’s wrong.

This app was fantastic until just recently. As other reviews have stated, the reported temperature is now incorrect. It is showing 160 ℉ in San Diego!

I love this app but recently upgraded to El Capitain v. 11.4 And degrees seem to have gon haywire. For example as I write it reads 142°F (it’s actually 64°) So Great App, needs an upgrade! Thank you for a great app!

Worked great for a while, but now shows the wrong temp. For instance, it says it is 127 degees F right now, when it’s actuall about 55 degrees F. Basically the one thing it’s supposed to do hasn’t worked in weeks.

There was no update, but perhaps something on the OSX side changed - like others it is taking the Farenheit temp and and converting it to C but displaying it as F. For example, it’s currently 73F in Houston… Degrees shows 73C, and when I switch it to F like I prefer it, it converts it to 163 F. It has the C and F temps swapped. My interim fix is to display in C, and hide the units. Please fix this, degrees is the only quality, not-bloaded menu bar weather app out there.
